Launching Mii Secure Scan — external security assessment from a URL

Miichisoft has launched Mii Secure Scan, an external security assessment service that visualizes your website's external exposure risks from just a URL. It cross-references Japan's vulnerability information (JVN) and known exploited vulnerabilities (KEV), and clarifies which issues to prioritize.

What is Mii Secure Scan

Mii Secure Scan is a self-service tool that visualizes externally observable security risks from a single URL. No sign-up or credit card is required, and you can start for free.

A systematic scan of what is externally observable

From transport encryption and end-of-life software to known vulnerabilities, the software supply chain, and exposed configuration files — it checks a broad range of aspects.

  • Attack surface / related hosts (ASM); exposed ports and services
  • Data-breach history; look-alike domains (impersonation)
  • Transport encryption (TLS); security headers; DNS robustness
  • Email anti-spoofing (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • End-of-life software (EOL); exposed devices and products
  • Known vulnerabilities (CVE); exploitation evidence/likelihood (KEV, EPSS); JVN cross-reference
  • Dependency libraries (SBOM); exposure of configuration files

Three plans

  • Standard (free, external scan): scans what is observable from the outside. Known vulnerabilities are shown as “inferred (needs confirmation).” No sign-up or credit card.
  • Advanced (free, email-verified, detailed): verify your domain by email to reveal details (CVE number, version, remediation). For domains whose ownership is verified, light non-destructive active checks are also performed.
  • Professional (managed assessment, remediation & migration): from attack scenarios and detailed remediation steps to carrying out fixes and system migration (paid).

Screens requiring login, source code, and internal systems are out of scope. We do not attempt attacks or intrusion, and do not guarantee an exhaustive assessment. Active checks are performed non-destructively, only on domains whose ownership has been verified by email.

To start for free with no sign-up, try running a free scan with Mii Secure Scan.

Is there a cost?

Standard and Advanced are free. Professional (managed assessment, remediation and migration) is paid and quoted individually based on your requirements.

What is the scope?

It covers what is observable from the outside. Login-protected screens, source code, and internal systems are out of scope. Active checks are non-destructive and limited to domains whose ownership is verified.

Is it safe to run?

It is based on non-intrusive external scanning, and active checks are non-destructive. Please use it on domains whose ownership you have verified.
